While we’re all about redefining success in new and innovative ways around here, it is also nice to be acknowledged in more traditional ways and today I am so proud to announce that Diana has been named to Business in Vancouver’s Top 40 Under 40. It is a great honor and reflects all the amazing work she has done for our businesses and for her community as well as here on Pretirement Living. Way to go Diana!
It all started about 5 years ago. We were successful by the traditional definition of the word. We looked like we "had it all" - beautiful office, lots of staff, new homes and were starting our families.
Truth was, we had never been more miserable. Our business was strangling the life out of us and we knew we were about to work our children's youth away. What did we do about it? Tore our business down and REBUILT it on a new business model built on an entirely different definition of success - our triple-threat bottom line: Freedom, Financial Gain, Fulfillment.
Today? We're more profitable than ever AND (here's the secret) the money is just a bonus. These days, we demand much more out of our business than just money.
